- The Most Comprehensive System of Buddhist
Practice

Many Buddhist students like to shop around for Dharma, wandering
from one school to the next. Their hearts are fickle. One moment
they roll to the east, and the next moment they roll to the west.
I have heard this circulating message, "Living Buddha Lian-sheng
Sheng-yen Lu himself has taken refuge in several dozen gurus and
ordained teachers. If I take refuge and receive empowerments from
teachers everywhere, I am only emulating him. What is wrong with
that?" When the person counseling against such vacillating
behaviors heard the argument, he also thought it made sense and
could not come up with a counter argument.
Today, I am offering this answer. People who want to practice the
Buddhadharma may go and visit other Buddhist schools, not for the
sake of seeking excitement, but to make comparisons and exploratory
visits. After ensuring that you have seen everything clearly and
are satisfied with your understanding of what the teaching entails,
you may come back to seek refuge in me.
I do not restrain people from seeking out and visiting worthy and
virtuous teachers. But, you should turn around and take a careful
look at what the True Buddha Tantric Dharma has to offer. From the
Four Preliminary Practices to the Great Perfection, external to
internal practices, worldly to transcendental practices, Personal
Deity to Ferocious Deity Yogas, common to uncommon practices, fire
and water offerings, and even the Highest Tantra Yogas of Tibetan
Vajrayana such as Dzodchen, Mahamudra, XXXX, and Yamantaka --- all
are included in the system of True Buddha Tantric Dharma.
The True Buddha Tantric Dharma is the most comprehensive system
of Buddhist practice. Whatever you want to learn and study is offered
here.
I can honestly tell everyone that whatever practice you are looking
for, I have it --- in the authentic and most reliable form. You
will even find practices that you will not find elsewhere. I am
an accomplished adept who epitomizes the thoughts and practices
of all Buddhist schools.
When you take refuge in Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu,
it is tantamount to taking refuge in several dozens of gurus and
ordained teachers. Is that not sufficient? To put it another way:
when one takes refuge in the True Buddha School, one takes refuge
in the "ultimate" school. One will not find any other
school with as comprehensive a system as ours. If one still wishes
to run around aimlessly from one school to another, like a chicken
without its head, one deserves to be spanked!
