Book 69 - Household Feng-Shui

  • Book 69: Household Feng-Shui
  • Appendix 03 : A Trip to Redmond
  • Written by : Master Sheng-yen Lu
  • Translated by : Janny Chow

By Mater Lian-han

Many fellow students who have traveled on pilgrimages to the Lei Tsang Temple (Ling Shen Ching Tze) in Redmond, Washington are familiar with the beautiful sights there. The majestic and lofty temple, towering pine trees, emerald Lake Sammamish, red tiles and white walls of the True Buddha Tantric Quarter, and the unusually fresh air and serene environment have all left indelible impressions on the minds of visitors.

I was very blessed and fortunate to have the opportunity to fly to Seattle on June 23rd, 1986 to pay homage to the True Buddha Tantric Quarter and Lei Tsang Temple (Ling Shen Ching Tze) and join in the birthday celebration for His Holiness Living Buddha Lian-shen, the founder of our school.

During my five weeks stay at the temple, I had the opportunity to get close to the Living Buddha and, in his presence, receive a continuous showering of the Buddha Light. In order to share this Dharma Taste with everyone, I have written this article "A Trip to Redmond."
