The invitation from the Chinese-American Association for Science and Technology was handed to me by assistant officer in-charge, Mr. Cheng, of the Taiwan Coordination Council. At that time, I was busy with my blessing ceremony scheduled for March and. But, I accepted to take part in their bimonthly gathering and give a talk.

Of course, the members of the Science and Technology Association are all qualified scientists and technologists. Most members are intellectuals, with Ph.D. degrees. Their invitation indicated that scientists are attaching importance to the study of psychics. It also indicated that scientists also have great respect for religions.

The name Holy Red Crown Vajra Master has spread from the States to all over the world. Recently, there have been many invitations to give seminars. But, due to my "practices" and "writings," which occupy most of my time, many of the invitations could not be accepted.

In this regard, I'd like to apologize for all the requests I had to refuse.

Regarding "religious power" and "spiritual energy," these have aroused the attention of many countries in the world. Currently, among the peoples that study pychic energy, the Russians are the most enthusiastic, Followed by the English and the Americans. Scientists in these countries, using objective studies and analysis, have found that a mysterious force does exist. Such belief is not groundless.

Using scientific means to analyze the "mystery force" involves very strict experiments. Many authentic scientific experiments are recorded on film. For example, a physicist at Stanford University believes very much in the existence of "mind power." Another physicist of another American college also acknowledges the reality of psychic power. An English university professor, after having conducted scientific experiments for many years, came to the conclusion that some kind of a force unmistakably exists. Are "religious power," "mind power," and "spiritual energy" in conflict with science? They are not. I know with certainty that the "exterior world" is under the manipulation of the "inner world." The exterior world is of material nature and the inner world is of spiritual nature. The material and the spiritual are Cause and Effect, relating to one another like both sides of a piece of paper that cannot be separated.

We know that physical energy is a kind of external phenomenon and mental energy is an invisible phenomenon. For example, brain waves, thoughts, etc. are invisible energies. If we human beings are able to concentrate and direct our brain waves into physical matters, altering the latter, this is the inner world manipulating the outer world.

Based on religious practice, Holy Red Crown Vajra Master, the Tantric Practitioner, during Zen meditation, uses visualization, mudra and mantra to activate man's primordial potential energy. This activation enables such energy to unite with cosmic energy, producing the great cosmic energy in man.

Religious practice is not superstition, rather, it is a scientific practice of inner illumination. The practice of Zen meditation is, indeed, a great science among the sciences. In the world of science today, many people do not understand these principles. They only believe what they see, thinking that anything "invisible" is not science. In fact, many kinds of "energy" are invisible, such as electricity, magnetism, radiation, etc..

The Tantric practices of Master Lian Shen have proved the existence of "religious power," "mental power," and "spiritual energy." They have also turned many scientists from non-believers into believers. The invitation of the Science and Technology Association is a good indication. We have already joined the exterior in science with the interior of spirituality. This is extraordinary and inconceivable!
