newly translated English book written by Living Buddha Lian-sheng,
Grand Master Sheng-yen Lu will be published at the end of March.
Entitled The Power of Mantra, this book reveals the esoteric mantra
employed in curing cancer, eradicating disasters, enhancing fortune
and encountering other mysterious experiences.
After His Holiness Living Buddha Lian-sheng officially announced
his reclusive life at the Kalachakra Ceremony in Hong Kong, September
2000, he continues his Dharma teaching and expresses his love to
four million students around the world by continuing his daily diligent
writing. The Power of Mantra is numbered the 148th book written
by the prolific and renown Chinese Dharma writer, and is the latest
book translated into English by his disciple, Yew Chung Cheng.
Luljeta Subasic, the English Editor, and I, the Proofreader, were
privileged to work with the talented and conscientious translator
for the first few chapters of the book. When I first proofread his
work, I was amazed at the translator's skills in elucidating some
intricate esoteric practices and interpreting the classic Chinese
poems written by our beloved Guru. Once, I came across a translated
name, and I became very curious in how he authenticated the original
English name. When he emailed me with his comprehensive researching
approach, I knew right at that moment that the True Buddha Tantric
Dharma will blossom in the Western World.

vigorously spreading Grand Master's teachings in the Chinese True
