A Revelation from the Buddhas of the Ten Directions

Late on the night of July 22nd, 1996, I received a revelation from the Buddhas of the Ten Directions, telling me that I had to write this book. The book is to be called New Revelations from the Buddha King.

This is a book of revelations from the Buddhas of the Ten Directions.

This book is blessed by the collective praise of the Buddhas of the Ten Directions.

This book reveals the Unfathomable Profound Mystery.

This book reveals secrets of such a hidden nature that people in the ordinary world have neither heard nor spoken of them.

However, it is not my wish to create trouble for certain people with the publication of this book. I only hope that, after reading these new revelations from the Buddha King, people will calmly reflect on the revelations, and study them. It is not at all my intention to cause harm for certain people.

The Life of Living Buddha Lian-sheng

As a monk in my fifty-second year of life, I often contemplate these questions: Why have I come to this world of samsara? What is my mission as the Flower Light Self-Mastery Buddha? What is the process of reaching Enlightenment and Buddhahood through spiritual cultivation? How do miraculous transformations happen in the realm of transcendental powers? What is the purpose of my life? Why am I called the Flower Light Self-Mastery Buddha? What is the secret of this life?

I have written the following verse:

I am a fifty-two year old monk
Living out my days,
Surfing along with the coming and going
Of all phenomena;
Fellow classmates from the past
Have vanished with the wind and clouds;
Will I still be here
Same day next year?

This poem reveals my feelings about the phenomenal world. In this book, I shall provide answers to all the above questions, without holding anything back.

Mr. Three-Peaks-Nine-States

In my book, Encounters with the World of Spirits, I wrote about my Spirit Master, Mr. Three-Peaks-Nine-States (San-shan Chiu-hou Hsien-sheng). He was my first teacher after I became psychically awakened.

Actually, at the time of writing that book, I was aware of the identity of this teacher from the invisible realm. However, I deliberately used terms such as `the Three Pure Ones,` `the Spirit Master,` and `an Immortal from the Highest Realm` to conceal his identity.

I once said, `If I revealed the true identity of San-shan Chiu-hou Hsien-sheng, many people in the Buddhist circle would probably faint.`

Today, with this book, I am going to make people in Buddhist circles faint. I shall take their breath away.

Padmakumara (Lian-hua T`ung-tzu)

The first night after I became psychically awakened (I was twenty-five years old), I travelled in my spirit body throughout the heavenly realms.

There I encountered many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Although I did not recognize them then, they all nodded their heads to greet me. I saw lotus flowers of different colors which were as huge as cart-wheels. A child was standing on each lotus and each child was holding a lotus flower of a different color.

As I was travelling in that realm, I distinctly heard a voice speaking to me, `You are the Padmakumara!`

This one proclamation has enabled me to persist and persevere in my spiritual cultivation for the last twenty-seven years, from the age of twenty-five to the age of fifty-two.

Who is Padmakumara? Today I shall tell everyone.

People of the world keep chanting my name and calling upon my epithet, but they do not know that I am standing right in front of them.

While people are chanting my Buddha epithet, they are at the same time cursing me and abandoning me.

What a wonderful world this is! How inexplicable! How inconceivable! But how can I blame the people of the world? Among the people of the world, how many have attained the faculty of Divine Eyes?

The Unsurpassable Buddhadharma Power

My Buddhadharma is unsurpassable in the world.

I have already reached Enlightenment and the Supreme Accomplishment. I am the Flower Light Self-Mastery Buddha. My Realization is unsurpassed by anyone in the world today, and it has outshone all negative forces and heresies.

The writing in this book will penetrate directly to the core of the Buddhas` Intention.

This is:
As the school of the White Rainbow rises,
Thousands of cloud waves fly;
Emptiness has never broken away from us,
All should quickly take refuge.
