Top Secret Files

At the Deesha Buddha Place
At the Buddha Lands, the following two files have been classified as top secret:
1) Shakyamuni Buddha and Maitreya Buddha; 2) Amitabha Buddha and Living Buddha Lian-sheng.
These two top secret files are kept in archives at the `Deesha Buddha Place.` It is obvious, however, that the secrets contained in these two files have already been exposed.
I will first discuss the first secret file:
Deesha Buddha is an ancient Buddha. The exposure of the first secret file may be found in Chapter 177 of the Vibhasa Sutra, `In the past, there was a Buddha called Deesha, who was also known as Bhusha. This Buddha had two bodhisattva students who were very dedicated in the cultivation of pure living. One of them was named Shakyamuni and the other Maitreya. At that time, Deesha Buddha made an observation to find out which of the two students would attain Enlightenment first, and he learned that the Compassionate One`s root of Enlightenment would ripen first, while the Able to Still One`s would ripen later. He then made another observation to find out whose affinity with the sentient beings would ripen first, and he learned that the affinity between Shakyamuni and the sentient beings to be helped by him would ripen first.`
The two key points in this secret file are:
1) Who would first become a Buddha?
2) Who would first descend to manifest in the samsara?
According to Deesha Buddha`s observation, Maitreya Bodhisattva had become so skillful in his cultivation of `Great Spiritual Transformation Based on Mind Only` that he had surpassed the level achieved by Shakyamuni who had been cultivating on the `Prajna Wisdom Power.` In the ordinary course of events, Maitreya Bodhisattva should become Buddha first.
However, based on his next observation, Deesha Buddha noted that the affinity between Shakyamuni and the sentient beings would ripen before Maitreya`s affinity with the sentient beings, so logically Shakyamuni should incarnate first in samsara to become a Buddha. This obviously presented a dilemma as Maitreya was apparently going to become a Buddha ahead of Shakyamuni!
The question was: which of the two students should become a Buddha first?
Later, Deesha Buddha decided to intervene using his transcendental power. After laying a mat under a lapis lazuli shrine on a mountain, Deesha Buddha sat in a full lotus position and entered into the Flame Realm Samadhi. After seven days and nights, he experienced the subtlest bliss and joy, and engendered the Blazing Powerful Light.
When Shakyamuni arrived, Deesha Buddha used the miraculous Powerful Light to empower him.
Raising one of his feet, Shakyamuni sang the following praises:
Here is an abode of great learning between heavens and earth,
Surpassing all the transient mansions of Brahma and of men;
A zealous disciple, a king of bulls, and a great renunciant;
There is no equal in all mountains and lands.
Because of Deesha Buddha`s empowerment of transcendental power to Shakyamuni, Shakyamuni leapt over nine kalpas to achieve Perfect Enlightenment before Maitreya. He also became a Buddha ahead of Maitreya to be born into samsara to help the sentient beings.
Maitreya was originally to become a Buddha first, but Shakyamuni beat him to it.
This is one of the top secret files in the Land of the Buddhas.
Later, with the Teaching of Prajna, Shakyamuni gave extensive help to many sentient beings in samsara. He also prophesied that Maitreya would be born in the future and that there would be the formation of the Dragon-Flower Assembly. But, based on the prophecy, the time of Maitreya`s birth is still far in the future.
Mr. Ancient Lotus
In my earlier books, I wrote about an ancient Buddha whom I referred to as `Mr. Ancient Lotus.` Actually, the real identity of Mr. Ancient Lotus is Deesha Buddha.
The file of the manifestation of Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu into samsara was also once kept in the archives of top secrets at the Deesha Buddha Place.
However, this file is no longer any secret, as it has been openly disclosed to the world.
Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu is a manifestation of Amitabha of Sukhavati. Using the name Padmakumara, he has been born this lifetime into samsara to extensively teach the esoteric Dharma to sentient beings.
In my spiritual books, I have repeatedly pointed out that I have been entrusted by Amitabha. In fact, after my initial acquisition of the deva sight, I travelled via the `deva-foot ubiquity` to the Illusory Realm of Great Void. This `Illusory Realm of Great Void` is, in fact, Sukhavati, the Realm of Great Bliss. That Amitabha is the same as Padmakumara has been pointed out quite vividly.
Whether Padmakumara is, indeed, Amitabha is not what is at issue. The problem is that, ever since Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu started teaching, he has been hit by many crises and calumnies, one after another, with the force of a landslide and the power of a tidal wave.
The Buddhist community would not tolerate him. Society would not tolerate him. He was considered to be a most controversial figure.
At this time, in the Land of the Buddhas within the Four Holy Realms, another debate convened. Half of the Buddhas present advocated the recall of Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu to the heavenly realm and the destruction by heavenly fire of the top secret file. It was thought that Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu had failed in his mission and, as it was impossible for him to achieve the goal of delivering the sentient beings, he might as well be recalled.
To be recalled is to die.
All the secret files from that convention at the Great Dharma Hall would then be entirely burnt up, therefore completely destroyed. This would bring complete closure to the whole endeavor.
This was the view of the Buddhas:
Living Buddha Lian-sheng was elected and sent by the Buddhas to go down to samsara to help the sentient beings. What happened instead was that people were rejecting and attacking him. It was especially bad that, as Sheng-yen Lu is the incarnation of Amitabha, people were chanting his name and at the same time wanting to kill him. There were very few people in the world with wisdom eyes; instead people let the wicked ones go away and killed the good ones. People were confused between good and evil. The continuation of such developments would have a significantly deleterious effect on the reputation of Amitabha. Therefore, it was decided that Sheng-yen Lu should be recalled.
Only Deesha Buddha held out with a different opinion. He volunteered to go down to samsara, under the name `Mr. Ancient Lotus,` to give empowerment to Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu, thus enabling him to break through the difficult situations and to speedily attain Enlightenment.
Under the guidance of Deesha Buddha, Sheng-yen Lu would exile himself to another country. This would cause the Buddhist circle in Taiwan to suddenly lose their target of assault, and Sheng-yen Lu would be able to grow in a foreign country, having his life spared.
Deesha Buddha would teach him:
`Flame Realm Samadhi.`
`Rainbow Light Accomplishment.`
`Non-Fabrication Yoga.`
`Non-Thought.`
Deesha Buddha said, `If we recalled Living Buddha Lian-sheng Sheng-yen Lu, wouldn`t we be admitting defeat to the Maras and causing a greater damage to the reputation of Buddhas? If Living Buddha Lian-shen Sheng-yen Lu is able to, in this lifetime, prove the existence of Emptiness, the state of the Unborn, the existence of bodies beyond the physical body, and that non-cultivation is cultivation, then it would not be necessary to recall him.`
Later, I committed myself to the practices of:
The Mahamudra of Actual Abiding
The Mahamudra of Union of Emptiness and Bliss
The Mahamudra of the Indian Ganges
The Mahamudra of Great Perfection
Deesha Buddha affirmed that I, Living Buddha Lian-shen Sheng-yen Lu, succeeded in realizing Emptiness, the existence of the Unborn, the existence beyond the physical, and the non-fabricated state of cultivation. With the removal of ignorance and emotional afflictions, and the realization of the non-abiding nirvana Mahamudra, the goal was successfully achieved.
Shakyamuni Buddha bestowed to me the title of `Flower Light Self-Mastery Buddha.`
Thus, I was not recalled.
I was able to continue with my mission and task.
